An accurate declaration of the value of your vessel is required for insurance purposes.
All vessels requiring transport are to be of sound condition so the vessels can be transported in whole, and safely. Unless otherwise pre-arranged, vessels to be transported are to be positioned in a manner that does not require third party assistance to load said vessel onto our trailer; (ex. sitting on the ground where a crane may be required in order to position our trailer under the vessel). Vessels that are to be transported and are contracted to be off loaded in water are to be at least seaworthy enough so as not to sink.
Any extra time that is required due to delays caused by weather, road conditions, tides, or any unscheduled stops for fuel, fresh water, groceries must be added to the price of the quote.
Quotes are based on the "accuracy of detail" submitted by vessel owner: overall length, overall width, and overall height are required to obtain any necessary permits as required by the Department of Transport regulations. Vessel soundness and, seaworthiness specific to your move are necessary to prevent any unnecessary delays or added cost involved with the transport of your vessel. The vessel owner will be responsible for any additional costs incurred because of inaccurate representation of any of the aforementioned requirements.
** Please Note: ** Central Island Boat Moving Ltd., at our sole discretion, reserves the right to refuse to transport any vessel that we feel has been misrepresented, or that we deem to be unsound or unsafe, and the vessel owner is responsible for any real expenses Central Island Boat Moving Lid. has incurred up to point of cancellation. Alternately, Central Island Boat Moving Ltd., at our sole discretion, reserves the right to take any necessary actions we feel are required in order to ensure a vessels safe transport, and/or required to preserve the integrity of any vessel that we deem not to be sound or seaworthy. Any additional cost incurred as a result of such actions are to be borne by the vessel owner, or acting representative in lieu of.
